This is one of the finest examples of this style I have encountered.
The box appears to have been carefully preserved and shows remarkably little evidence of use. The marbled lucite retains a beautiful glossy finish, the gold-tone trim remains bright, and the hinge operates smoothly.
Even more unusual, the original vintage retail price sticker remains attached, suggesting this piece may have spent decades carefully stored rather than displayed or regularly used. Collectors often appreciate original store labels because they help document an item's history and provenance.
