Beautiful vintage hand embroidered floral LOVE sampler, professionally framed under glass in its original oak frame. The embroidered design spells the word "LOVE" using colorful flowers surrounding the printed "USA 20¢" from the classic Floral Love stamp design. The embroidery is exceptionally well executed with fine satin stitch, long-and-short stitch shading, and beautifully blended colors that remain vibrant today.
The reverse retains its original paper backing with a handwritten family inscription dated February 14, 1990, reading:
"Thank you Doug & Lynn. I'm giving it back because you are the only ones to take care of it for me. Love, Mom. 2-14-90."
