This beautiful antique red glass oil lamp features a classic Victorian form with a Plume & Atwood (P&A) burner, one of the most respected American oil lamp manufacturers.
The lamp base is made from rich red pressed glass with a delicate embossed scroll pattern that catches the light beautifully. The upper portion features a textured glass section that adds visual depth and sparkle.
The lamp retains its original chimney and the P&A wick turner, which still turns but would benefit from cleaning and oiling for smooth operation.
This piece makes a wonderful decorative accent for farmhouse, primitive, or Victorian-inspired interiors.

The lamp is in good antique condition with age-appropriate wear.
• The red glass base is beginning to show light crackling in the glass, visible in photos
• Wick turner rotates but needs cleaning/oiling
• Minor surface wear consistent with age

Aged Metals
Aged metals—including sterling silver, silver plate, brass, and copper—naturally develop character over time. Silver will tarnish (a normal oxidation process), while brass and copper may darken, dull, or develop patina and verdigris. I do not polish these finishes, as many collectors value the depth, warmth, and authenticity they bring. You may also see light wear, including areas where silver plate has thinned to reveal underlying metal, along with age spots, surface variations, or minor discoloration. These are not defects, but expected signs of age that reflect the history and unique character of each piece. I do not accept returns because something was not polished or has rust or other logical conditions for aged pieces. My pictures are very clear.
